Members and roles
Every member of an organization has one role. The role decides what that person can do.
Roles
- Owner: full access, including billing, ownership transfer, and deleting the organization.
- Admin: manages members, invitations, projects, and files. Admins can view billing but not change it.
- Member: works with files and notifications and can leave the organization.
- Guest: reads organization details and notifications only.
Change a role
Owners can change admins, members, and guests. Admins can change members and guests. Nobody can change their own role.
- Open Members and find the person.
- Choose a new role from the role menu.
- Confirm the change. It applies right away.
Remove a member
Owners and admins can remove members with a lower role. Any member can leave an organization from its settings.
